We heard a loud clank somewhere on the way back. Sonia looked around from her seat in the truck and couldn't see anything. While at Al's looking at it, I noticed the better part of the front exhaust header tube, laying in the motorcycle trailer rail under the bike. I'm guessing that was the clank we heard. Al's said that's common with this header. The wrong type of steel, bent too much at that juncture kills them. Oh, well, need a header too. :( Here we see the rear header, which I took off to blow compressed air through and clean out any inhabitants, then stuff closed with oil soaked rag. The header bolts on both heads came off fine. Also probably not been off since at the factory.
