Sonia and I just picked up this Hawk today, 2005-07-17. Thanks to Sonia for taking such great photos while I wrenched away. She helped wrench on it too. :)

Basically, this seems to be a good motor/frame/swing-arm-wheel combination.

Everything else is toast. Electrics (everything), front-end, shock, seat, tank, tires, chain, sprockets, carbs, bodywork, etc. etc . . .

Unknowns: still not sure about motor, frame looks straight, eccentric bearing carrier, sa bearings???

We need to put together a shopping list and start aquiring parts. This album will help greatly once we get back into it.
